ARI Institute Establishes Contact At The Highest Level Of The UN Headquarters
Recently, we have initiated a promising relationship with the United Nations towards the implementation of joint educational projects aimed at a global impact. Only a few days before the General Assembly, I had a face-to-face meeting at the UN headquarters in NY with the Deputy Secretary General of the UN Dr. Asha Rose Migiro.
In my capacity as president and founder of the ARI Institute, together with our delegation, I presented my views on the solution to the global crisis at all levels, including climate change, hunger, social and economic problems, by putting into practice the principles of a new global and integral education. Joining me were ARI board members Rachel Laitman, Norma Livne, and Seth Bogner.
Dr. Migiro expressed, “I could not agree more with you, Dr. Laitman, on your perspective about the need of reaching new levels of understanding among the peoples and countries through education” and said, “I deeply respect and appreciate your work and commitment to reach this goal. We must work together towards this common purpose with the help of women’s power.”
During the meeting, I presented Dr. Migiro with the ARI Institute’s written proposal to the UN for global change as well as my recent books “The Psychology of the Integral Society” and “Self-Interest vs. Altruism in the Global Era” How Society Can Turn Self-Interests Into Mutual Benefit.”
