   Rav Laitman, My husband was studying Kabbalah and I also got interested. Then he was diagnosed with prostate cancer his studies fell off a little. Then he found out that his brain is shrinking and we are in the process of finding out why. In the mean time he has stopped studying completely but he does listen when I read out loud. He has lost interest in everything and sleeps day and night. I have read that you said that the inner spirit has to die in order to move to a higher spiritual level. Can this happen without the studying being involved? We both know God is involved with everything in our lives and the world and accept His dominion. Thank You Ellen Baker
