A question I received: Why is it that humanity’s natural development does not lead to the understanding that we must all be connected with each other in a benevolent connection?

My Answer: Everyone can give and take using their egoistical qualities – at work, in commerce and socially. When our egoistic properties reach a global, international level, we reach the maximum realization of our desires. This is where the first phase of human development ends and another begins – the phase of correcting the developed desire.

Nature demands that we restore the connection among us, which was broken before we were even born. This connection can only be corrected with the help of the Light, which the science of Kabbalah can provide.

The desire to start a family, to provide for your children, to be a good neighbor, to give and receive, to make money with each other, to live in peace, – all exist within the egoistic desire.

But if we are talking about a new system of connection among us, this is not a system of mutually beneficial trade, but a system where I am obliged to give to all; I must invest in everyone. This is not a transition to more trade with a higher degree of participation, although the world might understand it as such. Everyone understands that we must be interconnected in a positive way. But what Nature demands of us are heartfelt relationships based on the principles of bestowal and love, and not just honest trade!

No matter how much the bankers and the economists search for a regulator, they will not find it. After all, the only regulator for our state is in the rule “love your neighbor as yourself.” This is the only form of correct participation in the global system.

Otherwise, you will never have the freedom of will or the opportunity for independent action, and you will remain an inanimate little screw within a rigid system, forced to twist and turn as the system sees fit. But none of it will be done by you – you will be twisted and turned by others.

In order to make decisions and act independently, you need faith above reason and pure bestowal. No other method can be used to influence this system. If everyone were to begin to act this way, suddenly we would find that we are all rising above our previous egoistic calculations of trying to guess how each person would act, which is entirely impossible.

After all, by trying to reveal this formula and coming closer and closer to it, you suddenly switch from a numerical system of calculation to an analogous one. In other words, you stop counting 1+1+…, breaking the whole circle into segments. Because the calculation continuously gets harder, and there are more and more segments, in the end all of them merge into a common integral – into one common circle. You are then no longer able to perform a calculation according to your egoistic nature – you are forced to ascend to bestowal. And this is the only action that can be performed.

This is like a common integral, when you need to measure the area, so you break it up into segments, estimate the area of each, and then add them up, which is how the segments form a circle.

Questions I received about problems in Venezuela, people living in the East and an expression of doubt about Kabbalah as the only path to spirituality:

Question: I am writing to you from Venezuela. How can we choose the correct environment if we live in a country with so many political problems, where the people are severely divided and where the employment situation is often intolerable?

My Answer: Kabbalah is intended to solve all the problems of our world by elevating a person above them. All problems come from the Creator precisely with the objective of forcing us to rise above them. By understanding the source of the problems, you have the opportunity to truly overcome them.

Question: Why is it that whenever you speak of the dissemination of Kabbalah, you never focus on the East? What will happen with this part of the world? Is it that people living there are unable to walk the path of correction and avoid suffering?

My Answer: I speak to all people on Earth. The only issue is that we do not yet have enough friends and groups in the East and this is why I rarely mention them.

Question: I do not agree that the study of Kabbalah is the only method of spiritual advancement. I imagine that the Creator has all sorts of possibilities to spiritually develop any person, irrespective of whether or not that person studies Kabbalah. I also think that in places where Kabbalah was not widely known, there were also people who were able to complete their spiritual transformation.

My Answer: I wish for you to become more deeply familiar with what Kabbalah brings to our world from the ancient world, when the entire civilization was in one place – in Babylon. Kabbalah was revealed then and there in order to lead humanity to unity. You will discover Kabbalah’s universality and alter your current opinion.

Questions I received about fate, sensations received while reading, Adam HaRishon and connections:

Question: How do we find out the real purpose of our fate? Is there a way to discover whether a person’s actions are properly directed at carrying out the goal, for which he came to this world?

My Answer: This is a person’s constant work over the course of his whole life, in clarifying the goal – the Creator, the quality of bestowal and love, and acquiring this quality to the extent that he continually nears it.

Question: I have been reading your books for a long time, and it seems that something fulfills me within. I acquire a string of hope and attachment. I feel that I exist, that I am here, and when I concentrate on this feeling, I feel certain serenity and fulfillment. Is this feeling of existence my own ego, or is it universal, common?

My Answer: This is the emergence of your personal attainment of the common universe.

Question: To what organ of Adam HaRishon does my soul belong?

My Answer: Only you can reveal this as you reveal the Creator, because this revelation comes generally in the common soul and individually in your soul.

Question: When you say that “there needs to be a connection between people,” what sort of a connection do you mean?

My Answer: I am referring to the need to be in positive relationships, with participation of everyone in regards to everyone else, as our connection in a single mechanism obliges us.

A question I received: When people hear that I study Kabbalah, they ask: “what’s in it for you?” I respond that I attain the meaning of life, feel its taste. “What is the meaning of life?” they ask, wishing to hear a brief answer. How should I respond?

My Answer: Because I study Kabbalah, the world becomes transparent for me. Through it, I see the controlling forces, the system that operates our world. Because of this, I perceive our world throughout, from its beginning to its very end.

I attain the meaning of my life and of life in general, and I see myself in it, from the root of my soul in the common bundle of all the souls, to the end goal, which I must attain. All of this occurs in an endless eternal process, the perception of which is thanks to the science of Kabbalah. It reveals Nature and the Creator to me, and I reveal, attain and control the Nature of all the worlds.

Tell people that they can learn how to use life in the best possible manner and obtain the highest benefit from every passing minute! This is the truth!

In the News (from WWJ Newsradio): “Study: Baby Facial Defects Unnerve Women”  Puzzling new research suggests women have a harder time than men looking at babies with facial birth defects…men put three times more effort into watching beautiful women as women put into watching handsome men…Both genders spent equal time and effort looking at photos of the normal babies… researcher Dr. Igor Elman noted that previous work has linked child abandonment and neglect to abnormal appearance, and even asked if the finding might challenge the concept of unconditional maternal love.

My Comment: Where is the all-encompassing and boundlessly merciful maternal love? Alas, everything is determined by hormones and genes. Men watch women because it brings them pleasure. Women find no pleasure in observing a male. The basic foundation of Nature is the desire to receive (pleasure). That’s what completely dictates our behavior.

And now he is saying that the party is over…

Among the predictions being made here is that we are at the end of an historic boom cycle, and so while the economy may appear to recover from the subprime crisis and “minor recession” by mid to late 2009, (given Obama’s deficit spending to aid infrastructure and create jobs), it is actually “the calm before the real storm.”

My Comment: Any anlaysis that takes into account our interaction with Nature per se supports predictions of deeper crises, or even the end of days. There is the possibility, however, of avoiding the path of suffering by choosing the path of recognition of evil of our ego and its correction by an external force.

All our methods, after all, view change as something we can do on our own. But our own forces are egoistical and can’t alter our condition.

However, if we decide that the needed correction is possible only with the help of an external force, then Kabbalah can help us understand, how to activate it. Then the solution will come.

We are in the world of Infinity even now. We act within this world, but the results of our actions are not revealed to us during the period of concealment. However, we are within the same connection between the souls, the same common Kli of Infinity.

Concealment is only in regards to us. While we are in this world, we are situated in the world of Infinity, but we only feel it through five worlds or layers of concealment. The world of Infinity, which we perceive within, is then called our world.

During the period of preparation for revelation, we work against concealment, which is called our world. We wish to achieve a connection, correction and revelation, but we are incapable. However, when our efforts reach their full extent, they turn into a plea.

A person demands the Light from above to come and correct him, which then reveals a state, where he had previously existed. It is as though someone turns on a light bulb, or lights a small candle in a huge room, and a person already sees the same state, the same world of Infinity. This is the world of Assiya.

Therefore, you act in the same world, with the same power and the same desires, but to the extent that you are able to work with them, more becomes revealed to you. You raise all the desires with yourself and continue working. Nothing that existed before disappears. You merely add a conquering force every time, and this is how you advance.

Revelation is a state, where the previous concealment no longer gets in your way. You are able to work within the same concealment, and this is called revelation. You receive such power that you can orient in the same concealment, despite the fact that it is there. However, you can work with  that heaviness, which means that you have risen above it. You then reveal an even greater heaviness, with which you can also reach a connection.

The higher up the steps you climb, the greater the concealment becomes. The only difference is that after the first step, which is called Machsom, you already know how to rise above this concealment and how to work with it and accept it. After all, it is forbidden to reject concealment, otherwise a short circuit failure between the Light and the desire would occur.

In the News (from The New York Times): “Joblessness Hits 9.5%, Deflating Recovery Hopes” – The American economy lost 467,000 more jobs in June, and the unemployment rate edged up to 9.5 percent in a sobering indication that the longest recession since the 1930s had yet to release its hold. The numbers are indicative of a continued, very severe recession. There’s nothing in here to show that the economy and the market are pulling out of the grip of recession.
My Comment: No one in the world wants to hear a voice of common sense about the continuation of the crisis, about the necessity of changing of public relationships for its resolution and about a new phase in development of social relationships. It is because money flows through people whose wealth depends only on the development of financial bubbles. Thus, until the world reaches the point of collapse, they will not stop their game.

A question I received: In old times, a man could buy a wife and marriages were arranged by parents. But love can only happen in relation to a specific individual.

In today’s world, marriages aren’t always created for the sake of love. Sometimes it’s because the woman gets pregnant in order to force the man to marry her. Other times, a marriage is required in order to be able to move from one place to another. There are other examples. So you have created a family and now you must protect it. What if feelings arise toward another person when you are already a “cell in the society”? Then, what is a family and what is love?

My Answer: Throughout history, humanity has treated the family as a cell within a society that must be created and developed. In any nation or culture, love was never the motivation for starting a family. The purpose behind family was to be able to exist within the framework of this world.

Today, we are on the brink of realizing another goal: the purpose of the family living for the sake of reaching the Upper World. But while we are still on the threshold, we must free ourselves from the old relationships within the family and realize the purpose of the new, higher goal. At this transition point, we are still analyzing our nature and studying ourselves. We do this in order to come to the realization that our nature is evil and that we must rise above it
