It was his goal to correct people's perceptions. He pointed out that people were emphasizing the ability of viruses to mutate and become deadly but also pointing out that the media was not telling the whole truth because a virus can also mutate itself and the end result would be that the human immune system could "eat it alive" and vanquish it in hours without consequence.
